To Assign Soil Properties to Imported Meshes
To assign soil
properties to the previously imported meshes, use the following procedure. Note
that Soil materials need to be previously defined in the Material Catalog,
Soils tab.
- Either: On the Home ribbon tab, select the Parameters tool in the Soil Setup group.
- In the newly opened window, for each soil mesh listed in the left, assign a soil material in the right column. Select Save and then Close.

In this window the user will be able to see the meshes name
stored in the ifc file. He can choose what mesh to import. He can also rename
the meshes if needed.
The meshes have now soil properties attached to them.
